Partnering with tastemakers that embody true Italian style is core to the Peroni Nastro Azzurro brand.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro has enjoyed a creative partnership with fashin designer Antonio Berardi for more than four years, from bespoke fashion and design projects to front of house and backstage collaborations at his London Fashion Week shows.

Born in the UK to Sicilian parents, Antonio Berardi studied at the prestigious Central St Martin's College of Art and Design in London while working as John Galliano's assistant at the same time. His final year collection, in 1994, attracted the attention of key London buyers, including those from Liberty. Berardi launched his first professional collection the next season.

Berardi was influenced by his mother, whose impeccable ladylike style was a perfect reflection of her persona philosophy. He draws on his roots in English tradition and craftmanship and on the warmth and expressiveness of Sicilian culture and fusion of traditions. Berardi has an artist's appreciation of the female form; his clothes enhance the natural curves. Berardi instinctively grasps how new fabrics can be used to maximum effect, creating original shapes that extend the vocabulary of body language.
